Quotient Engineering, Inc. is a Texas Corporation, owned by its
founders and principal investors. The corporate headquarters are
located in Houston, Texas, strategically positioned for the Energy
and Chemicals industry.
Quotient's US operation include Sales & Marketing and Project
Management. The US headquarter maintains an engineering staff
locally in the US to perform field related activities, interface
with and direct global engineering centers, and perform critical
design functions. This office will be responsible for all
aspects of quality assurance, schedule, and budget compliance. |

India
Quotient’s Indian Technical
Center is located in Calcutta, India and provides the bulk of the
engineering and technical services. Quotient's expansion plans
include a second technical center in New Delhi, India.
The Indian Technical Center staff includes a
general manager in charge of all in-country operations, and
department heads representing each engineering discipline,
including IT and HR. This core operations team consists of top
quality professionals with extensive international exposure on
large petroleum and petrochemical projects and is accountable
to Quotient US. |

Global communication and Collaboration
Quotient uses leading edge
technologies, including, web-enabled project collaboration tools, FTP
servers and software, and a high-speed communications network
connecting the Indian operations to the US operations. Quotient’s
communication infrastructure utilizes a virtual private network (VPN)
that provides Voice and Data communication between Quotient’s Indian
and US offices, while incorporating security and firewall protection.

Browser-driven software is utilized to enhance communications. Online
documentation and progress status is available by client name and
project reference. Special emphasis is placed on security and
accessibility. Engineering deliverables are generated, reviewed,
approved and transmitted in the appropriate electronic format.

party web-based collaboration tools or internal/external FTP sites are
utilized to support project management requirements, system
functionality includes:
